Hi, Does anyone know if anyone makes clear semi gloss enamel? I thought I heard something about on a forum, but can’t find. HELP? thx. Aardvark
Alclad makes an enamel clear range called Klear Kote in gloss, semi gloss, and light sheen. Model Master and Humbrol also have enamel clears.
Testors made a black chrome awhile ago which was an excellent semi-gloss black, but it seems to be hard to find these days. I have seen one of their small rectangular bottles called semi gloss ( or semi-matt, forget which) black. I picked up a bottle but have not used it yet.
Forgot to say, if you are good with an airbrush, you can make a gloss enamel go down as semi-matt by putting it down dry and thin. Or, you can make flat go down a bit shinier if you put it down wet and thick.
