Can anyone tell me what the difference is between chrome yellow and say regular flat yellow? Thanks.

i have never seen chrome yellow. i would think it would come out to be more like gold.
i guess chrome yellow would be the same as any other tinted chrome. such as chrome red and chrome blue.
it has a much more reflective shine to it. and it’s not just gloss. it’s more transparent.
not sure how to explain it. but chrome blue and gloss blue comes out pretty different. i guess it’s just lighter in color and has more of a shine to it. like a tinted mirror.
they don’t have the same look them, i can tell u that much.
what i really don’t get is chrome black and gloss black.
Chrome yellow is really close to the yellow that u see on the 60’s model version of ferraris(Spell Check Here).Its really nice looking when polished up,im doing a 37 ford street car in that color right now.Chrome black and gloss black is a big difference.Gloss has a really bright shine and the black chrome is sorta like a semi gloss,it is trying to simulate the rubber around the windshield on newer cars.Hope this helps.
