help i bought this 1/48 scale aircraft model of the newest chinese fighter/bomber the detail is ok but the cockpit is the pits also when i used testors glue it won,t hold the parts i even tried super glue for models not holding eather so what can i use.
Have you tried washing the parts first, to remove any mold release agent, before glueing? Maybe weldon or tenax 7 liquid glues will work better.

You might try Ambrose Plastic Welder, not the non-toxic stuff. This stuff will glue the rubbery tank tracks together.
Overall, the Ambrose products are a little more “industrial strength”.
Also at Hobby Lobby they have a solvent cement that also works on metals, (I see it at the check-out in a silver tube) but it is strong enough to collapse whatever you are gluing together unless you use it verrrrrrrrrry sparingly.

What was the brand of the kit you bought? Have built several kits from China and never had any problems like yours.
It sounds like the Trumpeter ‘New Chinese Fighter’, which is the Chengdou J-10.
