Question, the Flaparons, were they repositioned or do they come like that?? I have not looked at my unbuilt 106 in a few years so I am drawing a blank.

I just started developing an interest in the 106 after reading an Air & Space article about interceptors. It painted the 106 as the one and only pure U.S. interceptor.
Very nice build Mark. A freind of mine flew these out of Selfridge, so I got out to see them up close a few times. Awesome bird.

What final finish did you apply? Looks very smooth.

Thanks Ken I painted it with Modelmaster gloss aircraft gray enamel thinned with laquer thinner. After decalling I overcoated the model with Modelmaster semi gloss clear acrylic to tone down the shine.
That is a great tribute to the ANG unit. That unit is well known for its pristine aircraft and both the ground crews and the air crews scored very well at Red Flag exercises. Well done.
Beautiful job on the Delta Dart, Mark! The 106 is definitely one sleek airplane.
