This is not model related but it is airbrushed and I thought I would share it with you all. This guy posts on the airbrush forum that a few of us on this forum participate in, and I thought it was so good that you all might enjoy it.
I wish I could paint like that. [:0]
I would like to have my Honda VTX 1800 painted like this when I get it in May. [;)]
I would have to paint it myself Josh as I am not about to pay that kind of money for a paintjob. I would guess this tank paintjob alone would run a good $1,500-$2,000 or more depending on the market.
Hey Mike, before you get too locked in, check out the bike that I plan to get when my car is paid off next year. Yamaha Road Star Warrior, she’s a real beauty. Pics don’t do her justice though, you need to see her in real life if you can.
I already saw one at the dealership here.
The one I looked at was the all black stealth one.
It is pretty cool but they are really no faster than the big VTX 1800 from what I have found.
That guy’s work is amazing. I really loved that death train bike, but my favorite was the Red Dragon (I have a soft spot for knotwork you know). His wildlife and fantasy art are pretty good quality as well, but those bikes wipe me out.
Both tanks are excellent! I recently got an airbrush, and thought about painting flames on my black Yamaha V-Star 1100, but decided that I shouldn’t mess with a good thing [:D]
Nice bike Jabbe.
It is a little small but still nice. [:p]
Just kidding my friend. Compared to the VTX 1800 I want they are all small, except for the Kawasaki Vulcan 2000. [;)]
The Vulcan is Huge! I’ve sat on a few, they’re nice. Is the VTX Kawasaki? My dad has a V* 1600, and it’s the same size as mine, but 200 lbs. heavier. Mine is small enough for my first bike, and big enough to be a respectable cruiser. I’m glad I didn’t go with the 650 though!
