Usually in such case you write the admin of the site and ask him to change it “from the inside” for you. I never tried it here, but it’s about the only option you have if that old e-mail isn’t there anymore.
I have a Macbook and a Windows 10 Dell desktop. For some unknown reason the Macbook never correctly handled the FSM Forum. I can log into the Forum on my Dell, but I can’t log into the Forum on my Macbook. I get a 401 Forbidden message.
Hey, JohnnyK, I saw your question, “What’s a breadcrumb?” in the “broken navigation bar” thread. That thread is now locked, so I couldn’t answer, and I couldn’t send you a PM, so I’m posting it here.
In software, a breadcrumb, more fully, a breadcrumb trail, usually appears in the upper left corner of a page, and it shows where you came from, to get to that page (breadcumb trail, like in Hansel and Gretel)
I asked them last year how I could change my email and they either couldn’t or wouldn’t so I just gave up. Still have my old email in there and when I can’t log in anymore I guess I’ll just have to make a new user name and password.
I just tried as well and can’t change my email either. My old email address is unreachable. I have used it to log into other sites though in order to update the info. I think it will still work as part of your log in key chain even if the email is no longer valid. Not logging out to test it though. THat would suck having to make a new account but it seems like no help is coming from within.
