I’m looking to build the Trumpeter Challenger II kit and I want to add the armor package as used in the Gulf. I believe two companies make a kit. Does anyone know who sells these kits in the U.S.? Thanks
This is gonna be a totally useless response, but I had one of those sets in my hands just the other day…but the name eludes me. The only thing that I recall was that it was a British manufacturer. And, unfortunately, that it wasn’t very good at all. Very rough, clumsy resin castings. I passed it up.
Be sure to check out closely whatever set you find, to see if it meets your criteria.

Accurate Armour just released an OIF update for the Trumpeter Challenger II kit and you can get it from their website or probably from modelmecca or missionmodels.com I’d like to get one as well along with an OIF AS-90 update (if such a thing exists).

i was just reading about how a company called Castoff has released a Romor up-armor package for the TrumpeterChallenger II kit w/ reactive blocks and side skirts, front and rear mud flats, front armor blocks and additional parts for both sides, available from F & F Models (www.fandfmodels.com) in the UK or email terry@castoff.freeserve.co.uk.
Accurate Armour’s add-on was designed for Tamiya Challenger I and is a bit different than version used in Gulf War 2003, but check out www.accurate-armour.com if interested.

Hey Kaleu: on mission models’ site they did have 2 update kits from Accurate Armour for the AS-90.
