That sounds like quite an undertaking. The ship between the Phoenix and the NX-01 is interesting, even if its only on screen for just a second. You might be able to find the Playmates Phoenix, and build the 1/350th scale Polar Lights “Akiraprise”. Is the intirim ship the same one that Archer has as a flying model?
Do they make a model of the nuclear missile’s you could do what Cochran did and convert it. Besides I have the Phoenix. It sites on the TV with some other similar ships. I’m doing the set small, say 6"x6" per scene. I have a 1/103 wright flyer and a 1/110 Spirit of st louis. Could be archer’s little ship.
It’s not. If you compare the aft of both, you’ll see that the “opening ship” has old style rocket thrusters, the flying model does not. The favored theory is that it’s the Valiant, a lost ship.
Berman has said that it’s nothing in particular, just a lunar transport. But if it only goes to the moon, why does it have warp nacelles? [?]
are they nacelle or struts to attach cargo pods? they don’t look like warp nac. I need a good clean shot.
