Ceramic glue?

Just started (sort of) assembling my first Verlinden diorama piece when I realized…I have no idea what to stick it together with. Is it just super glue?

Thanks in advance.

yup that works

Depends on what the piece is made of. Is it plaster (ceramic) or resin. If resin, then superglue is best. If it is plaster, superglue will not hold it together. Use PVA glue, Elmer’s school glue, on plaster.

Yeah, it’s definitely not resin. Elmer’s school glue, huh? Like, the white stuff? $1.29 a squeeze bottle? I figured it had to be something more…advanced. Elmer’s it is.

Thanks guys.

Hi Mate,

Just an extra to wat Heavy mentioned, but if you visit the local hardware store, buy a tube(comes with a pointed nozzle) of construction glue. For a few extra $'s you can get yourself a gun that you insert the tube in.

Construction glue is great for bonding ceramics but also can be used to glue decorative wooden edges to your diorama’s etc.The benefit of having a gun is you can control the amount of glue you wish to use by squeezing lightly or harder on the trigger. The construction glue is also alot stronger than white glue.Anyways, good luck with the build!!

Cheers,Shay
