yes but pick out the green pieces that add a scent, and remember it is absorbant so gluing can be an issue
all I used on this was kitty litter, I was going for the look of the area this tank is parked in a museum in Israel {Latrun}
A bit too chunky for most applications, but it does work as an mix-in to give some needed texture to your usual groundwork medium, be it Celluclay or plaster. It can also be used for making rubble.
In most cases, the cat litter used for ground work is the old clay type. I’ve used that in the past and was satified with it. These days, cat litter is the scoopable type which has a finer texture than the old clay type. I have not used the scoopable variety. You can find both types at outlet stores.
FWIW: when I want groundwork, I walk out to the street and look for where the gravel collects. I fill a coffee can with the stuff, then sift it. You get superfine and larger stones, plus sand. Works like a charm and it’s free.

As a rule, I don’t trust any product which is purpose-made or sold to do anything to do with poop.
Seriously though, I’m not sure of the actual ingredients, as I’ve never used it and I’m a “doog person”, but isn’t it somehow treated to deal with urine, feces, etc? If it is, I wouldn’t use it–I try to stay away from anything that is chemically active.
I also use just plain dirt and gravel. Old, well-trod or driven-over and sunbaked seems to be the best choice.
I’ve used the clay-based kitty litter before, but only as a “mixer” to create variety in size in texture in existing ground cover or rubble. Gluing can be an issue also. Little bitty gravel from the gutter works nicely too.

The clay cat litter, like mentioned, is a great additive to make rubble. It’s fairly uniform in size, and doesn’t look too good for that purpose when used by itself, tho.
Go with Celluclay… really cheap cost per application. Add natural sand and dirt to it, and on it.
Yes I have used it and it works well for me but I find that I have to mix it up a bit to make it realistic for my taste.
I add some plaster of paris, rail road talis(balist rock),and some other bits n pieces.
