Cars (and Trucks) 2024-25

I couldn’t log back in for a long time and was so surprised to get a notification that someone posted. Build when you can is all I have to say. A little bit is always better than nothing.

Sooner or later I’ll get the hang of navigating the new site.

Can we have a new end date, please. A do over, more or less!

Yes, I was actually thinking of this the other day and was going to float this out there. What do I ou guys think of adding another 6 months on this GB? Shoot for the end of June of 2025 for now?

I’d go for that. Long enough for people to find the thread and join in. Maybe PM the original people so they can find the GB?

I was figuring that if things pick up I’ll extend the GB another 6 months.

Looks like I’m not going to able to edit the original post to change the title and the rules. I’m also not going to be able to edit the roster or add pictures of completed builds there ether.

As things get going and you have a complete revamp of the list and pics of the finished models. I’ll help you get them updated.

So every time I need to add a user name and what they are building I’ll need assistance?

Let’s try to keep all of this in a single place—either here or feedback. I’ve found the settings. I’ll adjust them after discussing with the team on Monday.

Not much progress on my end but here it is. I ended up spraying a light gray primer over everything and resprayed the Magnetic Gray in order to get a lighter color.

I also just started this 1968 Mustang.

Looks great GT. Best reason to build ford is because you get to paint the engine that lovely shade of blue

I’ve always loved that shade also and have no idea why Ford changed around so much on their engine colors.

On a side note this 1968 Mustang kit has many inaccuracies. 1967 details instead of 68 details as well as missing trim/molding. All they had to do is look at a picture of a 1967/68 front end and say we need to do some more work.

I would like to join.
I have a AMT Coddington 32 Ford that is started, but not the way Boyd did it.
I also have a couple of AMT 1925 Ford Model T’s that are part of a project build of mine that I will include if that is OK.

Some really good work going on in here.

Think I could jump in with this one?

Likewise, if’n it ain’t too late, I’d love to sign up with the 1/35 Hobby Boss Soviet BA-6 Armored Car, done up as a Finnish-captured vehicle, of course.

By all means guys, build away! I extended this GB by 6 months to see if there was still any interest and we just got three in a row.

I’ll update the roster a little later.

Thanks @68GT !! It’s Ed isn’t it? Do you want separate threads for this or do you want the build here in this thread?

Yes, we can just continue in here.

Have to look at that signature business in here.
