Anyway it’s ready for paint which I’m going to have to do early before it becomes 100+ outside.

I’ve been busy with my father’s estate so the last month has sucked. I’m hoping to be done with the bulk by the end of the month and hopefully I’ll be back to building.
Progress has been slow after messing up the chassis by inexperience of wetsanding/ polishing. Gonna still roll with it and try to cover it up by weathering. Fingers crossed

nucmedtech, that project turned out awesome. That green on the Ford pickup looks period correct and your rusty weathering on the Plymouth looks so realistically convincing.

This build came out awesome especially the weathering which looks so good on a rally car. There’s a Rally Car group build on you tube going on and your build would be perfect for it.

Thanks both, turned out to be ok for my first car build, though much needs to improve. I have learned much during this build and will use them for my next subject

Holy crap! That looks fantastic. It look great as a clean new rig but your weathering is off the hook. Not so easy to pick her out on the track now! Well done!
