Wow, another beautiful Camel! Excellent work as always. I checked out your link, some stunning examples of WWI aircraft. The wood effects on the prop are especially well done, mind sharing the technique you used?

Yellow enamel topped with burnt umber oil streaked on with a “rake” brush. Topped with Future once the oils are dry.
Very nice Camel. What color are you using for the PC10?
Regards,
Very nice! Looks real!!
Super work, Michael.

CLUNK!
trexx’ jaw hits floor.
LOOKS REAL! Overwhelmingly convincing. I can smell the hot castor oil!
mstanley, this is one of the most realistic looking planes I’ve seen at this website. As others have said, the wood propeller looks amazing. What really strikes me is the weathering on the metal parts of the plane. The way you’ve dirtied it up makes it look like sheet metal, like it’s been shaped and used, not fresh from the factory. Super work, and congratulations on a great model!
Thanks for the wood tips, the effect of old, worn wood looks very convincing. [tup]
Beautiful Build [tup].

Very nice work on the Camel. Bring on the Red Baron.

Excellent work! I have to keep looking away at all these WW I masterpieces. Biplanes are very tricky and yet yours looks wonderful! Top notch!
Sweet looking bipe. Great wood effect and rigging. Well done.
Yep, gotta agree, looks real!
Stunning stuff. You said the rigging was .005 music wire? What is that? Is it a string or something?
