Canopy problems

I’ve recently finished my F-104 G ‘’ Mt.Olympos’’ of the greek airforce.Everythink was perfect until i tried to glue the back part of the canopy.Some glue slipped away and guess what…Yeap,the canopy got blured.I know that i can sand it with 1200 grid and try some silver polish to make it like knew again but still i’m afraid to do so.Any ideas except of ordering a new one from Hasegawa?!

Yiassou, Dimitris…
I’d try 2000 wet and dry - or maybe a polishing kit - try to polish out the glue, then dip in Future - should clear the problem.
If not - or if you don’t think you have the skill, just order another one and start from scratch with a new canopy.
