This happened a few months ago where I could not log in no matter what I did. Then about August, the site accepted my log in and would keep me logged in. I had been a paid subsriber then whole time and as of now, when I go to Extra’s, it opens a new window and it won’t let me log in.
I am using Chrome on Windows 10 with a August 5th update.
I am also having a lot of issues with the bottom ads that pop up and then expand when I try to close them. There are so many times I can visit the Best Buy site or shop for a new Chevy when all I want to do is look at the Reader Gallery. I don’t mind the sidebar adds, just get rid of the pop ups.
I use Windows 10 and MS Edge and I get automatically logged-in when I go to the forum. I also get no bottom ads. However, I do get logged out when I click in Extras. Two more things, I get no e-mail notifications and I cannot log-in from my Macbook. The entire FSM website is a mystery.
Its nuts, I cannot log in through Edge, it won’t take my password, the same password that it will allow me to use in Chrome.
I go into Update Account and it won’t let me log out or access my password, instead, I am routed to the Kalmbach main page.
I can revserse back into my Update Account settings page which is a security concern.
This site is a mystery, and a potential security risk.
I have copied your reports and passed them along to the online support team. I’ll report back as soon as I hear from them. Thanks, Tim
Thanks Tim,
At the moment, I and logged in with Chrome. Any tips on controlling the bottom pop up banner and being able to log into the “Extras” section will be appreciated.
Have you tried clearing your Chrome cache?
Thanks, Scott, just making sure. There was an issue with logins several months ago, with similar symptoms. It was a true bug that needed to be fixed, but a workaround in the meantime was to clear the browser cache when it happened.
I was able to log into the Extras last night and everything seems to be working. Don’t know what happened.
