Canadian What If

Here is the 1/72 Hobbycraft Avro CF-105 Arrow in a what if guise, had it progressed further than as a prototype. This is a bear of a kit - I can’t imagine the 1/48 kit being any better -, few parts, but none that really fit. It takes resolve to complete it. But in the end, it is a pretty neat sight. I did not help myself by wanting a model ‘in the air’, lots of fiddling about and much Milliput needed to get the U/C doors closed, but the other option, on the ground, would have required many hours of turning the kit parts into something decent.

Much international politics, by the sound of it, killed what was a pretty amazing design. Real pity, it did and still does look amazing.

Nicely done. Such a cool looking airplane and super long landing gear.

Woah, that is cool. Great display! I love in-flight builds. Perfect weathering, too.

How on earth did you get the holes for those acrylic rods drilled at the right angle?
