J/K, I think either of those would help, provided you rectify the missing Spit problem. [;)]

Well Frank, my 50th birthday is coming up in a few months. I could always ask my wife. Maybe the “Honey, I’m the only one on the block without a Spitfire. Can I have one pleeeease?” would help. [;)]
You know this is the first I have heard of your “problem” with spitfires. Strange I never noticed it before.?
For your 50th, maybe she will get you a 1/1 scale Spit. Ask high, then negotiate. [:D]

1/1 ?! If I do that, I’ll have half the guys on this forum beating down my door!LOL! …but that’s OK …she loves to cook!! [swg]
I’d be kicking it in! [:D] Then seeing if the plane is fully aerobatic[swg][(-D] Then have a bite to eat[BG]
LOL Drew!
…and I told my wife that while we were remodeling, replacing all the wood doors with glass ones was a bad idea, but she never listens to me! [;)]
Jon,
I just purchased Revelle’s 1/48 spitfire from my local Michael’s craft shop. I may have to send it to you so that you can build it, paint it and return it to me. I’ll even throw in bottles of paint, a tube of glue and return postage as well.
Thanks so much for your encouraging words! I appreciate it!
You’ll have fun building that one. It has some of the Revell fit issues, but nothing too serious. I built that last year, and thought it came out pretty well. It was my second or third model after getting back in the hobby, and I hadn’t discovered Future, airbrushing, etc. So I’ll probably pick that kit up again and make another go at it.
Post pics when you build it!
Hey Everybody! There’s a Spitfire at Mikes place and he’s doing dinnner as well! [BG][:D][:D]
Don’t worry mate I’ll bring the rum![oX)]

Woohoo! Party at Mike’s! [party]
Hello. My name is Don, and I don’t have a Spitfire in my stash.
(quickly ducks to avoid flying cabbage and tomatoes)
I’ve always been more of a Hurricane guy myself, when it comes to early WW2 RAF. Built the Revell 1/32 Hurricane Mk.I when I was much, much younger (their 1/32 Spitfire Mk.I as well) - my camo job consisted of brushing Testors gloss brown onto the green plastic kit, and that was my camouflage. Add to that a half-gloss white, half gloss-black underside, and you can imagine the extraordinary results. But I digress.
I do have 4 or 5 different Me-109 kits in my stash from years gone by, though - including the MPC 1/24 109E. I guess I need to get myself a Spitfire - I’ll see how my Airfix 1/48 'cane turns out, and maybe go for the Airfix 1/48 Spit MkI. I’m all out of shelf space for my stash, though - so I sure hope I don’t catch what’s going around!
Two Spitfires in the stash and only one on the display shelf. I feel inadequate []! However I am currently working on four Ar 234’s! [:D][8-]
