It seems that I may have inadvertantly tossed the decals that came in my Monogram C-47 kit[banghead Guess I need to find some more… Any idea’s? I’d like to find a set for the Normandy invasion. I already checked Camdecals, zip. I have a list of other companies but am not all that impressed with what I’ve found. Any idea’s would be great, thanks.

Doug, I am building the same kit right now and it’s the one that does not have invasion stripes. I have since decided I want to build a D-day version. If you find a decal company will you post it here so I can order also. I was going to ask the same question but then decided to paint them on. I am almost ready for paint but if I can do the same with decals that would be great

I DO have the decals for the Monogram Normandy invasion C-47…and you’re welcome to them…but the great big buzz code on the nose is missing (7D in this case)…I must have used the white for something (long ago) and now they’re gone.
But the rest of the decal sheet is there, if you still want it.
I was going to post a pic of the box art and a pic of the decal sheet, but Photobucket is down at the moment.

I don’t know about the stripes being decals,I was planning on painting mine on. I think it will look better that way. Go to aeromaster.com like arki30 suggested and click on eaglestrike productions. They have a number of decal sets for the kit.
Hey guy’s, while we are on the subject. I am going to paint on the invasion stripes when the time comes. So here is the question, any suggestions on the width of the stripes on the wings and fuselage. If anyone has a suggestion I would appreciate it.
