Hey guys I was wondering if anyone had heard of a review from the Mach 2 company’s C-123 Provider in 1/72 scale? Any help in this would be thankful.

It is typical Mach 2, which means soft on the details, clear parts that are mostly suitable for smash forming vacform replacements because they are thick, distorted, and brittle, and in the case of the C-123, the belly has some shape problems, which if I remember right is not flat as it should be. Not much interior detail.

I have the kit which I started several years ago but put aside so have never finished. As John pointed out, the fit isn’t the best but not as bad as I feared. The engraving is rather soft and inconsistent. There is little interior detailing, so I spent much of my time scratchbuilding the insides since I wanted to display mine with the ramp down. I don’t know about the shape of the belly being incorrect, but it looks like a C-123 to me. I’ve seen a couple of these kits built up and in the right hands they look very nice. If you want to build a 1/72nd Provider it’s the only game in town, although Amodels does a 1/144th scale version.
