Buying sheet styrene in bulk?

I have heard of folks buying large sheets of styrene(4x8) like you would building materials, and saving quite a bit. After searching the local metropolitan area(Philadelphia/Wilmington,DE), I came up empty. A friend is a tool and die maker, and at his job they use high impact poly styrene(HIPS). I am looking for product similar to what Evergreen Scale Models sells. Is there another name for it other than just “styrene”? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

You also might want to check out this company they supply many of us with our bulk styrene and Weld-On 3 needs. They do ship and their service is fast. Depending on thickness, you might consider having a full sheet cut into four or six pieces to facilitate easier and lower cost shipping.
