Hi Everybody
I was wondering if anybody had any techniques other than white glue for gluing down building debris and rubble that will make go a little quicker and less tedious.

Don’t know about larger debris, but just for small rubble and broken bricks, etc., I just put them down and put a drop of Woodland Scenics scenic cement under them. Seems to hold OK and dries clear. For bigger items I have to use the white glue.

Position the rubble in your desired area. Mix a thin solution of water and white glue (10:1), then add a drop of dish soap, (lowers the surface tension). Use a spray bottle of water and gently mist the surface of the rubble, then apply the glue solution with a eye-dropper / pipette. You don’t have to hit everything with the glue, as capillary-action will draw the solution into surrounding areas. Let dry, repeat if necessary. If done correctly, your entire diorama should be as hard as a rock. You don’t want to just put the glue solution in the spray bottle, as you will get it on things you don’t want glue on and you will most likely clog your spray bottle.
^^^^ This is the method I use. I use it to lay down my initial layer of groundwork. He’s right. Hard as a rock.
