Here we go!!
She’s definitely not perfect, but overall, I’m very happy with how she turned-out. It has been a very worthwhile learning experience to me. It was gloomy and rainy here all day, so I didn’t have any natural light for pics. I made due in my shop with lights I had on hand. I hope you enjoy the pictures!
The base is a Polar Lights universal model stand (about $7USD). I had a nameplate engraved at my local “Things Remembered”. I custom cut 1/8" plexi to mount the squadron badge on. I modified the stand by using carbon fiber tube I had laying around from my RC stuff.
This is the only pic with natural light. The sun peaked through my loft windows for a few minutes yesterday and I snapped a couple.
