I built a Revell Bugatti EB 110 kit but it was bland. I wasn’t impressed by the car itself let alone the kit, so coloured it up terribly! I’ve tried to get a kit by Suyata in 1/32 depicting an armoured sports car, but the kit is made in the Ukraine they are virtually impossible to buy now.

A previously built kit suitably armoured I found on the web…

Looks amazing! If you’re going though the wasteland you might as well travel in style!

I love the chipped paint and rust- I’d swear I could get tetanus just by handling your model!

I concur! That rust work is amazingly well done.

I agree, it looks awesome.

But, if I was traveling through the wastelands, I’d want something that could move on unimproved roads and had greater visability. F-150, larger Suburban SUV, etc. And speed gained by an exotic sports car would be negated by the weight of the armor.

And, I’m assuming the post apocalyptic highway department isn’t fixing potholes!

Yeah, stylish but not very practical. You got it Rob, I think I’d go with just a simple Land Rover or Jeep.

Or just for whackiness the Land Master from ‘Damnation Alley’.

I love your build, I was just countering his “ride in style” comment! I think I’d try to find an abandoned police department’s MRAP or steal one from a National Guard armory if I was to try to survive in Mad Max’s world.

Or an armored HMMWV.
