Anyone know of a good Hobby Shop in Niagara Falls or Buffalo? I live in Hamilton, Ontario and can cross the Border at Niagara. I’d like to access some of the items we can’t get here in Canada because of US Postal Regulations that prohibit shipping of a lot of items. If they have a website, that would be even better.

There is an informal kind of shop in Buffalo called 3GUYZ. Extremely helpful folks…email them at: cjltd@adelphia.net…and see if they have some stuff you are looking for.

Niagara Hobby and Craft Mart on Union Road is pretty good for basics. They cater more to die-cast and railroaders and their prices are not very competative. I very much prefer Ace Hobbies in Niagara Falls. ALso if you contact 3Guyz, they may arrange an appointment to take a look at their stuff. They have literally thousands of kits from anyone and anytime you can think of.

After Market accessories for both a/c and armor… Paints up the yang and he has over 1000 AM decals… of all scales… And a impressive Library to boot…!!

This is no doubt the Best Hobby Shop in Western New York… If not Thehannaman owes you a drink… Hehehehehehe

Also: I was swapping mails with BobC of 3GUYZ last night in regards to Noreastcon and I mentioned **Butz…**Bob shot a mail right back…“How the heck do you know him?”, he asks…so I tell him and mention Justen too when talking about FSM.
Well, BobC couldn’t remember Hannaman’s first name because he always calls him Doc! (and told me why!) Bob thought it very cool that we network this way. I thought he would’ve known.
If you guys mail GUYZ…Bob knows me as David, from CT.

where exactly is this shop up in the Falls??? I live in buffalo and have never heard of them…im usually getting my kits from either Niagara (i hate the prices) Micheals, or online. id like to take a trip up there soon to see what i can get.
Not surprising. I lived in Buffalo all my life and only heard of Ace back in 2002. The only reason was 'cause I was fed-up with Niagara and looking for something new.He’s in the Yellow pages.
I think Bob has me confused with another Hanna that is in our club (no relation.) So, sorry, I have no professional advise on the toe-nail thing. But, I TOTALLY feel your pain about the IG toenail… God those are painful… I digress.
Bob’s absolutely right. Since I’ve gotten into the social aspects of the modelling world (only recently,) I’ve met so many great people and have made many strong frienships that I never would have otherwise. (Butz and Blackwolf come to mind.) Many of these folks are professions and LEADERS in their “real” lives. We are very diverse and capable bunch. (Personally, I think the only common thread is the OCD [:D][:O] and this is our self-prescribed therapy, but, again, I digress.)
[(-D]…BobC seemed to think that hanna was a podiatrist!..it’s all fun, and will shake out in the end.
I believe modeling is a good therapy for OCD[party]…we will not wash our hands 4 times an hour because it cuts into modeling time!
But if there’s another hanna out there…I’ve yet to see him.

Ace Hobby Shop used to be on 18th & Pierce in NF… He is now located at 3019 Niagara Street… Basically a block down off of Hyde Park Blvd.
He’s been around since 1947… Laughs I know what you mean, I too never heard of Niagara until I first heard of it back around 95 or so…
Come on down, you will not be disappointed I gaurantee ya…!! By the way, tell Ron that Mikey sent ya!! LOL
