I went to the Fort Worth Aviation Museum this weekend. I went to get a photo of me on an OV-10A similar to what my dad posed when he was in Vietnam.
What I didn’t realize is that it was Bronco Fest weekend there. They brought in an OV-10D and were giving rides to those in the association. I have video of it taxiing in, out and landing. But I can’t post video here.
A bunch of great folks. I met someone who was in the same FAC that my dad was in. Covey. And a guy who brought the VM0-2 Broncos over from the states to Vietnam. He was building a flyable 1/12 scale Bronco.
Oh, and I did get the photo I wanted, but the sun wasn’t cooperating.
