I need help painting 2 British aircraft in desert colors it is calling for a mix of red brown and flesh 95/5 can someone help me with a close match in MM colors
You need Dark Earth, Mid Stone, and Azure Blue for the bottom. MM #'s 2054, 2052, and 2048.
What aircraft are your painting? If a WWII bird, the colors listed above are correct. Modern RAF desert birds (Tornado, Jaguar, Buccaneer, Chonook, Puma, etc.) are in a single tan color that has a slightly pinkish hue to it. Testors Flat desert Tan 1167 in the 1/4 oz bottle is a good match.

The color for those birds is Desert Sand, AKA Desert Pink, no BSC color number that I can find listed. The closest FS # is 30279. In addition to the Testor color i mentioned earlier, Humbrol makes it as color no. 250, Xtra color as X31.
