Bovington reference pics

went to Bovington again yesterday , bought steel tigers DVD, is good, highly recommend ,

Oh yeah, had a bad time with a Dragon T34, was giving oil was at weathering stage, did a sound job on all those pesky track links, some of track links started to come off as I was applying wash, lost my rag, and poor old T34 got a thump on the head [:I], memories of modelling, some good and some bad, unfortunately for the T34, I was having a tough time with life in general at that moment. Lesson I have learned, dont work on that kit when your eyes are popping out of ya head! Is funny to me now, but at the time when I calmed down, felt real guilty. Today am starting Tamiya Tiger II, Ardenes Offensive, with vinyl tracks!

Guess that I am not the only one on planet earth to have lost his rag with a kit …

Thanks for the pictures. I would like to see the Tiger I in person soon. Yes, I have blown my top over a few models. I haven’t broken any parts, just became extremely upset and put them away where they still sit today.

Last I heard, they had completely blown the Tiger’s engine. Write-off, they need another.
