Why is it that I can’t find any bomber crew sets that actually go in the bomber? I know that there are a few kits that have gunners and pilots in different positions, but I’ve never been able to find an aftermarket set with the same type of figures. Does anybody know of one? I was looking specifically for a B-17 crew, but I’d settle for anything.
Any ideas?

Go to this site, select search, type in 1/48 air force figure. There might be something there you can use as is or modify slightly to get what you want.

Good suggestion Richard. I figured, if anyone made a figure set, greatmodels would have it. I’ve never seen one on there though. However, last night when I was looking I came across an awesome set by Teknics. It is the crew standing around a wounded crewman on a stretcher. So maybe I’ll pick that one up also.
I think it is the Revell-Germany 1/48 kit that comes with a crew… Or maybe there was a ProModeller one at one time that had it. If I can’t find one I was thinking about calling the company and seeing if i can buy an individual spru tree from them. Has anyone ever done this?

While you are at GM take a look at the Airwaves figures - wide selection and different poses, they still would need some adaptation.
