This is the 1/144 Hobby Craft kit. I think my favorite part is the base. The orange was meant to be a decal, but I painted it instead, and just used decals for the numbers. Some of the decals are spares, and some are kit decals, kind of a fun little build.

Extremely nice work on the Clipper! As a flying boat fan, I always look forward to seeing a build on here. My dream is a 1:72 or 1:48 Clipper, but I kinda doubt I’ll ever see one [:(]. Thanks for sharing! Made my birthday complete!

Thanks guys, I actually enjoyed building this one (kind of out of the normal subjects for me). The base was probubly the one thing I enjoyed working on the most on this project. The Pan Am symbol on the base is all hand painted, and turned out really cool.

Well I just went to the hobby store with “santa” yesterday, and picked up one of these for christmas 
I hope to get it together this winter.
