Does anyone know what year the Dodge Charger was that Blade drove in the first/second movies? There are several Charger kits out there like the General Lee [which I hear is inaccurate], Fast and Furious charger, and the revell '69 Charger kit. What model year is Blade’s and what would prob be the best kit to use to build it?
That would be a 1970 Charger. You could use the body from Revell’s 69, but the grill and tailights were diffrent, and I’m not sure where to find those.

Thanks! But I now beleive that it’s a '68 because th tail lights are round.
I thought it was a '69!
The '69 has the long tail light lenses lige the but I beleive I remember the Blade care has the four round tail lamps. I’ll have to borrow the DVD from my dad to be certain. There was also a similar black charger in the sci-fi channel Robocop miniseries “Dark Justice” I belive it was called. I’d like to build that vehicle too along with the Fast and Furious one.
I had a 1970 and the taillights were round. MPC made an old 1970 Charger kit. You might be able to find it on EBay.
That’sd where I ahve been looking. i just haven’t pegged the year on the car. now it seems that both the 1970 and the "68 had round tail lamps.
the 70 had taillights similar to the 69, but they ran together, the 68 had round tailights. I just looked at the pic link you gave again, it is a 68. the side front markers are round on a 68, rectangle on 69 and 70, those are round. so, it is a 68. Revell did a 68, but they used their 69 body with diffrent front and rear fascias. to be accurate, you will have to sand off the markers, and make new ones.

I was talking about the MPC kit, not the real vehicle. I actually had one but it was a '69.
Blade’s Charger was a 1968 model.Revell sells a '68 Charger sold as the Dick Landy Charger. It can be built stock. You’ll have to find the wheels, but other than that,it’s in the box. You’ll also have to fill in the rectangle side marker lights and use the round lights supplied on the decal sheet.
