Is anyone familiar with the Black Widow, especially Monogram’s kit? I noticed some discrepancies in the directions. FIrst of all, On the “B” version, it appears I’m supposed to leave off the RADAR gear. Is this true? And second, which “A” version is correct for Hustlin’ Hussie? Thanks!
Husslin Hussy is a P-61A without the upper turret. The B version has the radar gear but the slightly longer nose. Great kit that P-61!
Does that mean I’m going to have 2 black 61’s? because the A with the turret is olive with gray. The only pictures i can find are of the B-24 with the same nose art[xx(]
Eduard has a PE detail kit that really adds to the Monogram kit. Highly recommend it!
Only the early P-61’s were olive and gray. They went to the black so they would not be spotted over the water at night. Husslin Hussy is a black P-61A.

I have a revell 1/48 scale P61 black widow in the radar section on the instructions it only tell me to paint the cylinders silver but not the caps what color are they and my book on the P61 does mention anything on the radar can any one help thank you
