Taking on a huge task doing the 1/350 scale bismark and i bought a pack of super thin wood popsicle sticka and i am goong to cut them down and use them for the decking on the ship.

Okay, I’ve got to ask about this one because I’m just starting to wander into the ship section and learn how you guys do some of this stuff.
Are you actually planning to cut those down into individual scale planks and lay the entire deck one piece at a time?
At 1/350 those things must have to be incredibly narrow. I have no idea how many individual pieces that would take, but I’m guessing the answer is “a lot.” 
This sounds either incredibly ambitious or slightly insane—or probably some combination of the two. I’m interested to see how you do it.

Looked into that and i considered it but i spent to much this year so looking to cut costs a entire bag if the sticks cost 1.50

Definitly both and i am not anywhere near a pro modeler this is my first attempt and my first big ship project.
