Have fun!

I must say MM that would make me feel pretty good if it were one of mine. Artama did a nice clean job. Have you used him/ her before?

Awesome work! I can imagine the difficulty in masking and painting the disruptive paint sceme. The deck is magnificent, I’ll have to remember Artama.

This is a beautifully done model of my all-time favorite ship. However, the funnel cap should have been painted silver. Tirpitz and Bismarck differed in that Tirpitz had a black funnel cap whereas Bismarck’s was silver. But, it is a beautiful model none-the-less.

Jumpin Jehosephats !

"Man the Guns boys , it’s really the Bismark " ! ! Very Nice work there ! T . B.

Thanks so much for all your kind comments and compliments! I really appreciate them!

GMorrison - I have several ship builders but “Artama” is one of the best. He’s built quite a number of warships and warplanes for me. You can check this menu in parts of Sea and Air models (extremely long list):

Unfortunately that he’s too busy to work for me now. So there may be no new works from him except a few warplanes remaining with him.

Chris - Disruptive paint scheme may not be difficult for him. He didn’t mention about it while he shared how he painted the Swastika emblems:

Bill - Thanks for your kind suggestion. I think “Artama” followed the color scheme provided by Tamiya.

T.B. - Man, it’s the Bismarck, not Bismark! Thanks for your kind words!

MM,

It is too bad that he did so. Kit manufacturers’ color schemes are nortoriously unreliable. If you check the hundreds of photos of the actual Bismarck, you will clearly see what I mean. The funnel cap is a silvery-light gray color. Contrast them with those of Tirpitz, the difference is equally plain. Anyway, it is a simple matter to correct the model.
