Bi plane wings

Hi , this is my first post, I am trying to put wings together, on a ww1 plane, how can I connect the wings and struts together without it falling apart, I am working on a sopwith camel, any help will be appreciated

For biplanes I generally make a jig to hold the upper wing while the glue sets. In fact, I make two jigs. One has holes identical to the actual upper wing, and is used to glue the cabane and interplane struts in place and hold them while they dry. Then, if necessary another more complex jig to hold the upper wing in place while the joint between the struts and upper wing set. I make the first jig from a sheet of transparent plastic so I can see to drill the holes, and then easily see the struts while I fit the jig. The second I make either from cardboard or particle board.

Which kit are you doing ? Eduard 1:48 or Hobbycraft 1:32 ? Consider doing a jig made from “Lego” blocks.

I was doing a Academy kit, 1:32 scale I made a big mess, with the wings, I tried for 2 days, broke a strut now in garbage, I wish I asked early, will try again

Thanks for the Help
