BF 109 fuselage spine rivets

I was planning on replicating the top and bottom rivets that run along the spine and belly of the 109.

Now I think I’ve worked out there are approximately 22 rivets per panel X 6 = 264 from tail to canopy, then the same on the belly would= 528,that seems a lot of rivets to do individually.

I won’t be using a rivet tool but a 0.3mm brass tube as when pressed into plastic gives a great impression of those rivets.

Please show your results once you’re done with the effort. Trying to replicate flush head rivets properly is a challenge. The rivet tools make a simple divot and that does not quite look as good as what the tube can achieve.

I will demo it on a scrap piece of plastic and upload a photo in a while.
