Trying to find a good flush cut sprue nipper. Found three at Micro-Mark. Any recommendations on these:

Xuron

Heard good things about Xuron and the tweezers. There may be a better set out there, if so, just let me know what you recommend.

Those are all fine, but also check out this one:

Probably the best one out there. Hawkeye carries them. I’ve been using it exclusively since I got mine and I’ve not used any better.
Xuron for the win. Although I am currently using one from squadron… [:|]
I have both the tweezer style and the Xuron…The Xuron by far is my go to cutter I got mine from Hawkeye, great guy to deal with.

Another vote for Xuron…they make a great photoetch tool as well.
I’ve got a set of sprue cutters from Squadron Shop. They work very well. Also have the 90 degree tweezers from Squadron Shop. Both disply divine simplicity. As with most things, get something you’re comfortable with.
I’ve got the Xuron sprue cutters, but honestly, I always come back to my Tamiya side cutters:

They cut a lot closer than anything else I’ve ever used. I tend to use the Xurons for cutting parts from the tree, then the Tamiya cutters for trimming the sprue tabs off the parts.
Blasphemy! [;)]
You know I’m really really opinionated on this one! LOL The one thing about the Xuron tools is…they have and actually honor their warranty!
I use the tweezer type from micromark and am quite happy with them.

I’ve got the orange-handled Xuron that you have pictured & have had no problems. As a nice little bonus - they’re American made.
XURON get my vote .
Ron
I use a Bandai sprue cutter, looks very similar to the xuron. (its the only one the LHS had) havn’t tried it on PE yet.

Been using the cam action cutter for close to 20 years now. Still works as well as the day I bought it.
it’s all about preference. some like, some don’t.
Xuron has been working great for me.
I saw a guy on you tube using a pair of scissos to cut parts from sprue.

I bought my Xuron over 12 years ago based on the recommendation of a friend. It works well, but I’m as likely to use a mini-scalpel or a hobby knife.
I use a pair of cutters I got at Radio Shack for about $5. They are like the Xuron cutters but at a better price.
I also use a heavy duty cuticle cutter that’s great for fine delicate stuff.
Those look neat, but I wonder, is it possible it is a tool that has been over thought?
I’ve been using common nail clipping side cutters for years, they work fine regardless of the task. I usually leave a bit of burr on the part, better than trying to get too close.
I use a pair of straight type nail clippers to remove the burr and I have found I can do the most outrageously fine in close work with them to the point I can even make a snip that removes any need for clean up afterwards.
This.
