Hello! Can anyone recommend a really good hobby shop in the greater Los Angeles area that has a big selection of plastic model kits AND a really good selection of modeling supplies like Testors Modelmaster and/or Tamiya paints, Squadron Green filler, Micro Mask, Micro Sol, Tenax R7 glue, sanding sheets, etc.??? I’m willing to drive to any of the surrounding areas/cities/counties around the Los Angeles area.

Brookhurst Hobbies in Garden Grove. They are pretty much the last man standing in the north Orange County/south of Downtown LA area. Although some brands that you mention, such as Testors Model Master and Tenax are out of production and anybody who has their stuff is old stock. Brookhurst is well stocked and well run, and supports the local hobby clubs such as IPMS and AMPS to keep a good customer base and a finger on the local pulse of the hobby. Well stocked in new kits and supplies, they even have a nice consignment selection as well. Occasionally you’ll run across that kit there that you missed the first time around and would love to add for your stash/collection.
