Squadron and Internet Hobbies!!

Being in Canada I prefer these 2 sites. But I know of quite a few U.S. modellers who deal with them too. Might be something to do with the exchange rate being of benefit.

Military Hobbies - http://www.militaryhobbies.ca/

The Barrel Store - http://www.bentbutnotbroken.com/index.htm

Don’t forget the exchange rate … prices are in Canadian $$$$.

I’ll add this one to the list

http://www.scalehobby.com/

I get a good portion of my stuff from here:

http://www.hobbylinc.com

Then there’s eBay!

I agree with Ebay as one of the best. I also use Hobby Link Japan:

www.hlj.com

They have some hard-to-find Asian kits plus a comprehensive catalog.

I’ll add

www.hometownhobbies.com

Good selection and pretty easy to navigate (prices seem pretty good too).

http://www.modelexpoinc.com

Tamiya’s1/350Enterprise119.99 and I’ve seen it at 99.99.

Don’t forget the guys at Aviation Usk!
http://www.aviationusk.com./index.html

it also depends where you are

Any suggestions for UK or European suppliers?

The cost of shipping, import duty, VAT, customs handling charges, etc. can make ordering from the USA uneconomical, although I have just ordered a Badger 360 from Dixieart.

Cheers

Just a couple more

Hobby Link Japan
Squadron
Ebay
Greatmodels

Just to name a few I’ve used in the last year!

Glenn

www.greatmodels.com
www.rollmodels.com

Both are pretty equal as far as price and service. Great models seems to have a bigger selection.

hobby link japan provide great service also
www.rainbowten.co.jp
www.grandprixmodels.com
The latter is the best ever shop I’ve delt with for 43rd racing and rallying

For the UK, www.hannants.co.uk is probably the biggest for planes and AFVs. They have a massive range, despatch quickly when stuff is in stock, have knowledgable staff, and often turn up with a stall at big airshows.
My only gripe is that they stock almost no aftermarket auto stuff.

oh, and nicholma, I think you just cost me a lot of money with that last link [:0]
