best paint brushes for 1/35 and 1/32 figures

I’m looking for suggestions on the best brushes for small scale figures…the medium would be styrene plastic or pewter, and I’d be using mostly oils and Humbrol enamels. I’m a novice at this and need some help…I’m well aware of the cost of some of the better brushes, (I don’t think one finds them at Michael’s or Hobby Lobby) but I guess one gets what he pays for. TIA

Well I go to Michaels and A.C. Moore for paint brushes. My medium is usually acrylic, but you can get some very good brushes in their art departments. You can try Windsor/Newtons for oils if you’re using oil and enamel paints. They may be a little high end but they have other ones that are less expensive. Also make sure that they’re sable brushes or natural materials brushes. They hold onto the paint the best and give good coverage when painting. Also if you’re painting in 1/32 & 1/35 scales use 0, 3/0, 10/0(liner), 1,2,3 size round brushes and a couple of 0 & 3/0 flat brushes. I hope this helps with what you need.
