Best Leopard 1A4 kit ?

hey,

just wondering which kit is better … the Italeri Leopard 1A4 or the Tamiya Leopard 1A4 ? I have a detail set for the Italeri one, but i don’t want to build it if its really bad quality …

The Italeri Leopard 1A4 is one of their best armor kits ever. Very much superior to the 1970s era Tamiya kit. Revell of Germany’s Leopard series are reboxed/retooled Italeri Leopards so they are good as well.

hmmm, thanks for that, means i have bought the wrong barrel (got a tamiya one) … might be able to retrofit it onto there possibly …

Italeri hands down. Don’t fret about your gun tube, it’ll probably fit anyway, be darn close at the worst.
