Dear All
i am building the 1/144 space shuttle kit of Revell
but the fitting of parts is very poor , leaving big gaps to be filled.
Do you know if the AIRFIX kit 1/144 of shuttle is better than the Revell kit ?
Thank you
Michele

Check out www.spaceinminiature.com book #3.
It has detailed comparisons of all available shuttle kits ,except maybe the newest ones by Dragon models, and combining elements from different kits to get the most accurate model possible.
Hi Michele,
I’ve written a message but I think I’ve lost it, therefore again my answer to your question:
You are right, the Revell kit is very inaccurate and parts have rather large tolerances. The Airfix shuttle stack is substantially better and also better detailed. Do you know the Airfix kit? if not, then look at you this kit conception from a German friend, those is however unfortunately only in German.
