I’m looking to get a 1/35 Henschel Turret Tiger II for a diorama I’m planning. It’ll be summer 1944 in France, so not an Ardennes or Eastern Front Tiger. Preferably one that comes with Zimmerit, but I can do it myself if needed. What are you’re thoughts on which one out there is the best? Thanks!
You can try a Tiger II in Normandy or in the Falaise pocket. Good luck.

I really like Dragon kits,they make at least two,they are older,but they build nice,they have the molded on zimm. Dragon # 6840 and #6303
Here is my build of #6840
Takom also makes on also,but I never saw it,Meng and Tamiya have King Tigers,but you need to add the zimm with paste or aftermarket sheets.
There are also KT’s from the Battle of the Bulge and forward,no zimm needed on them.

Thanks. The Tiger II I want to build is Walter Scherf’s 300, from s.Pz.Abt. 503. I got the Dynamo Models figure set to go with it. From what I hear Tamiya’s are really lacking in detail. I’m a bit hesitant to go with Takom, they have molded on zimmerit but have include an interior which don’t really need. I think Das Werk sell some of the Takom Tiger IIs without interior, but they don’t seem to have done a version of the kit I would want. Though, I could always leave the interior out. There’s also the Rye Field Model kit, which apparently does not have zimmerit, and the Hobby Boss kit, which apparently comes with zimmerit that can be applied.
