Best F-16 Kit in 1/48?

Last time I built an F-16 model was in 1984 when I was 12 years old. That was the Monogram YF-16 painted in vibrant white, blue (or black) and red.

Hasewawa makes several great 1/48 F-16 kits

Yep, in my experience the hasegawa kits are the best, I have a couple waiting to be build including a 1/32 nd scale block 10.

Yep, those Hasegawa F-16s go back a ways, and have been improved over the years, and they still represent a bargain considering some of Hasegawa’s prices and the quality of the plastic. Plus, like Mustangs and Me-109s, there is an endless list of great AM parts and markings for them.

hey MonsterZero;
I’ve built just about them all, from the Monograms 1976 first issue to Hasegawa’s block 30 and seen into the block 50/52 kits box, and the best is so far is Hasegawa’s, then I’d say the Italeri’s is a far second, then the Academy’s (neck in neck with Italeri’s if the interior was better), then Revell’s then Revellogram’s, then Esci’s (or AMT’s), but the Hasegawa’s have some problems like they need to include the Big Mouth Intakes with the current intakes, also to include the block 10 intake & horz stab’s to round the whole production out then it’ll be the best F-16 Fighting Falcon kit on the market
