Best F-15E in 1/72? Calling F-15E Experts!

I want to build an F-15E, I know there are kits available from Hasegawa, Italeri, HobbyBoss and Academy, if I’m not missing other brands. I’d like to know which is the best of the bunch and requires less aftermarket. Thanks a lot in advance. Best regards.

José.

I can’t tell you which is best but I can say don’t get the Hasegawa. It is not an F-15E. They designed it from the initial prototype which was a F-15D. Quite a bit is wrong as far as panel lines and such

Tamiya just came out with one but I think its a rebox of the italeri kit. Wonder if they did any new tooling? Something to look into

Actually, the most recent edition of the Hasegawa kit has new sprues in it that provide correct details for the Mudhen. I don’t know what took them so long (20 years plus), but it is now the best way to get a fairly accurate Strike Eagle. Look for kit No. E39 (01569). Sprue Brothers have it:
