Best decal bonder

Now that Testors has discontinued its decal fixative spray and my two other sources seem to have gone belly up which product is the best decal fixative ? I have used these with mixed to unsatisfactory results: Rustoleum 2X clear gloss, Badger’s Decal restorative and Testor’s decal fixative. I also have but have not used Mircromarks’ decal bonder.

I just use Testors Glosscoat or Flat coat.They work fine and are still available. I use the lacquer, not the enamel clear coats.

What is the correct thinner for those? I have both, already.

Lacquer thinner works great for airbrushing Testor’s Dullcote and Glosscote.
