Any thoughts on what paints availiable to replicate this color? I have seen conflicting advice. One source says to use Humbrol bronze green, another says to use model master Euro 1 green and another says to use model master field green 34907. Also some sources say the P-39 interior wheel covers landing gear bay and landing gear struts were painted this color while others say these items should be painted chromate yellow. Any clarification on this would be greatly appreicated as I am building a P-39 aircraft kit now. Thanks.
The Bell factory used their own version of Interior Green for cockpits. Just to confuse matters for you even more, I find ModelMaster French Khaki to be a pretty good match.
