Sure. Sit down at your workbench open a kit, take a deep breath and make a model ;). Really thats how I did it after 15 years away.
thanks for the intel Iv been working alot just have not have the desire to work on anything till now.
I find alot of my inspiration from this very forum. Check out the Best in the West competition on FSM’s home page.

Me too! Troll the forum for an hour or two and you’ll be itching to build something.

Myself ! I would go for the F-15 E, I really like that aircraft.
thanks for the support guys it meens alot, my job is driving me crazy I just haven’t found the time to work on anything in awhile, but I think I will now.[:D]
I too, have been idle since about last July and I know what it’s like… a little daunting. I ordered a 1/48 Tamiya p-47 bubbletop and an Eduard photoetch cockpit set a week ago as my first get into it kit. It’s worked out well because it has forced me to figure it all out after a hiatus, even if not a very long one. Stick with it and you’ll be back in the saddle again in no time.
do you have a digital camera? if not, and you have the budget for one, buy one!! i got one about 6 months ago and i cant wait to get something built so i can photograph it!! i cant decide which is more fun, building the kit or photographing it!! it’s fun to share the pics with your forum friends too. later.
Iv got a digital camera Im just looking for the right time to get back in the saddle thanks for the support everyone.
hey dude, just look at all these models Swanny, Pix, Rick and the rest put up…including the armor boys, the cars, the dios and the figures…then sit down and force yourself to get som stuff done…what I do is write out a small list of things I want to get done during that modeling time, and try to do it!! I’ve heard that even famous Authors have to force themselves to write even when they don’t want to!!! Good luck, and we all look forward to seeing your pics of what you do finish!!!
i agree with all of the above. most importantly pick up a kit and build. once you start to do it that desire will return.

thanks guys
Hey Fighter guru:
Was in the same boat, moved, had everything packed away, couldn’t find anything. Then Memorial Weekend came along, had some time, went down to the garage grabbed some basic building tools (glue, knife and paint brushes)
Had several projects going. but instead went to the closet and grabbed something new and easy to do. In this case Monograms F-105F in 72nd scale.
Had the basic airframe together on Sunday, no PE, no resin, just the basic kit.
Now I have several going and back in the saddle again. The F-105 is ready for paint. Now I need to find some decals for this!!! Always something

Im slowly getting back into the saddle went through everything last night cleaned out both boxes and got organized. thanks everyone for the help.
Remeber bro, no matter everything we say to help you get in gear again…it comes to putting your rear in a seat and just doing it…youre the most important part of a model kit.
hey guys the 15 is comeing together ill post some pics as soon as I get a little farther into it.
