Beav's M3 On Demand!

I finally found my sisters camera(it was a black op) and i loaded them up here, for you to see, if you will remember, you all wanted more pics, so i have more!

and the original

Wow, superb beav! The weathering is awesome and the rust on the tracks is really good!

mud? well, i thought i was putting rust on…lol [:I] call it what you will!

looks good. I was painting the tracks on my tamiya m3 and I only painted rust on one side of the tracks, 'bout killed me![:P] I really like the base too.

great looking Stuart, Beav. Good to see the black op against the sister worked out. I never messed with mine, since she is 6 foot and mentally unstable

That first picture is how I see without my contacts LOL. Sorry, the second is a great picture and clearly shows off the weathering. It looks good. How did you achieve it?

Well looking good. Good to see more pics.I am not sure if I just can’t see it in the pics so I would like to suggest that the tracks (end connectors) be drybrushed with a bit of metallic colored paint. Friction with the ground elements never fails to scrape off rust from tracks (at least from what I see in construction equipment).

Great job.

Nice work Beav, but you might as well delete that first pic! My eyes…my eyes…
The second pic is sharp as a tack, though, and does your work justice.

Ok, first of all, i am not really done with this one-still have to do some metallic around the hatches, hinges, and yes, thanks for pointing out the track connectors(my silver color is locked shut by a paint explosion from the past, and my other one spilled over, and the last metallic if airbrush only so…it doesn’t do it justice…
The weathering, it stands out nicely in the pics, is just random colors of green-around 6 hues in all, some shaken, some not so shaken, semi-dry brushed on all surfaces, not just exposed surfaces, i kinda like the feel it gets…
And the camera, wasn’t wearing its glasses during the first pic-honestly don’t know what happened, but oh well…
And my sister is a film developer person—so—she might like soak me in some developing fluids…if she finds out, so don’t tell her anything…[:P]
Whoops, the base coat is khaki, so it prompted the first layer of green, which was to deep, so i kept going with it…

there, my completely disconjointed write up is done!~
