battleship row

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a company or companies that have produced a 1/350 to a 1/450 kit of each of the four classes of battleships that were present on that faithful day in December 1941. I want to pay tribute to that time and honor all who were there. I would prefer that they are all in the same scale. Any and all information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

i’m kitbashing Revell’s 1/429 scale to do all the classes from the Wyoming to the Colorado in their different configurations at various stages of the war plus another Mississippi asv the gunnery test ship AG128 after the war. http://www.shipmodels.info/mws_forum/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=165105

They are all available, or once were, in plastic in 1/700.

EDIT: To clarify; the four classes, not necessarily the right fit. And I have no idea about waterline vs. full hull.

The idea of kit bashing the Revell Arizona into all of these other ships impresses me. I could never pull that off.

1941 fits of the Arizona, Maryland, West Virginia , and California (I think) are/were available in 1:700 scale from Trumpeter.

There are no plastic 1941 Oklahoma or Nevada kits. You may find them in resin from Midship Models (formerly Classic Warships).

There is a 1944 Pennsylvania from DML. You could backfit it or start with an Arizona and replace parts from Model Monkey.

The trumpeter Tennessee is also a ‘44 fit. You’ll have to go the refit route or do Midship Models

In plastic you will also be out of luck on the USS Vestal moored outboard of the Arizona on Battleship Row

Also in the 1200th scale metal kits intended for wargaming. I have seen two different dioramas using those. An advantage of that scale too is that the diorama is not room size (I believe they were about four to five feet).

EdGrune, would be better off using the Arizona to convert to Pearl Harbor Pennsylvania as you would have to replace everything from the main deck & up except for the main guns if you use 1944 Pennsylvania.

Aren’t there resin kits in 1/350 scale available of the BBs that were at Pearl Harbor? Yankee Modelworks or somebody like that? I know that they make at least some of those ships because a local shop has them built up and on display.
