I have a Revell 1/72 Snowberry I’ve been collecting research data for and thought a GB in FSM would be an interesting way to see if there are any other builders out there with a similar desire. Corvettes, U-Boats, destroyers, cruisers, the Hood, the Bismark, even patrol aircraft (PBYs, Sunderlands, etc) all that sailed/flew and fought in/over the Atlantic waters during the second world war (1939-1940).
I’d like the Start Date of 2/24/2010 (the 70th anniversary of the day the Snowberry was laid down).

I have a SBD Dauntless I was thinking of doing in the Atlantic scheme. I just finished one for the Pacific GB so I might be able to do another and fix the things I didn’t do on the other one.
Sure, that’s a good idea and far enough away to be realistic about. I’d probably add to my Coastal Command collection, in particular if you’d allow crossover builds.
Amazing I just ordered the Trump 1/700 USS Washington, Trump 1/700 HMS Eskimo Tribal Class Destroyer and the Tamiya 1/700 King George V this morning. Anyone see the connection with these three ? I have been wanting to do a Naval Dio for some time. I have several other projects at this time but hope to have them on the shelf by 2010 [tup]
Of the Graf Spee? I think it looks pretty nice for what I paid. I read plenty of stuff on here about how it stacks up against Trumpeters offering, and how both kits have shortcomings. In the end I could not justify a near $100 for the Trumpeter offering, but $40 for this one was reasonable.
